HEATHER GIFFIN

Speech-Language Pathologist

Owner/Clinical Director

Since 2004, I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend my days helping children improve their communication and literacy skills. My work truly energizes me and I would choose this career a million times over.  My passions are speech sound disorders and literacy, particularly for children with Autism.    I try to work with the words of David Yoder in my mind when he said, "no child is 'too anything' to learn to read."

SHERI-ANNE TAYLOR

Speech-Language Pathologist

In the 15 plus years I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist I have never tired of learning about language and literacy and how to support communication in children, including an interest in motor planning for speech. I love sharing this knowledge with families to work together to help children grow. However, the best part of my job is always having the opportunity to catch the infectious giggle of one of my clients. The rest of my time is spent with my family enjoying the fresh air of the country and exploring lakes and trails around South Frontenac with our dogs.

I truly love working with children and have developed a passion for speech sound disorders and stuttering. Being a Speech-Language Pathologist is incredibly rewarding in so many ways, but the best part is that it allows me engage with children every day and help bring their confidence to new heights. When I'm not working you can find me fiddling with my plants, reading, and spending as much time as possible with my family.
