HEATHER GIFFIN

Speech-Language Pathologist, President/Owner

Since 2004, I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend my days helping children improve their communication and literacy skills. The families I work with give me purpose, and add so much joy to my life!  Outside the office, I love running (the only 'sporty' thing I am capable of), spending time in nature, and traveling with my husband and 2 boys.

RACHEL TEAGUE

Speech-Language Pathologist

Over the past six years of working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the preschool-aged population, I've had many rewarding and enriching experiences both in Ontatio and BC. I find that communication is fascinating, and I absolutely love working with children!

EMILY BEAUDOIN

Communicative Disorders Assistant

I was introduced to the field of speech and language when I was fourteen years old, and assisted a child with his speech program from school.  This was an extremely rewarding experience that inspired me to pursue a career helping individuals of all ages improve their communication.

Emily is currently on maternity leave.

DANIELLE MILLS

Communicative Disorders Assistant

I knew from an early age that Speech, Language, and Literacy was my calling. I have since been inspired by the many amazing students I have worked with over the past 6 years as school aged CDA.  My husband and I live in the Centre Hastings area and are smitten parents to our little bulldog fur baby "Beans".

JENNIFER BATTLE

Communicative Disorders Assistant

I have had the pleasure of working in education for the past 20 years. Speech and language is my passion!  I am goal driven to empower children to become better communicators. My husband and I live in the beautiful city of Kingston and are the proud parents of three grown children.

LINDSAY MCCARTHY

Communicative Disorders Assistant

I was first introduced to the speech and language field when I accompanied my sister to her speech session.  I watched her use sign and pictures to make choices and play with her SLP, and I was hooked.  I graduated from the CDA program in 2000, and have worked with preschool, school-aged and teens in both public and private settings.  I have a passion for social communication and AAC.  Outside the office, you'll find me surrounded by my chickens, sheep and pigs, pretending I know how to be a farmer.

MEAGHAN IRONMONGER

Communicative Disorders Assistant

Office Manager and Social Media Specialist

I had my first experience with the field of speech and language as a child while supporting my brother with his 'speech homework' and at his clinic sessions.  I started working in education in 2013 and have been inspired by the amazing children I have worked with throughout my career.  They helped steer me toward becoming a CDA and I have truly found my passion!  In my free time, I can be found with my dogs exploring hiking trails, or reading.

ALECIA McFARLANE

Speech-Language Pathologist

Alecia is our most worldly team member, sharing her time between Europe and Canada.  She is a warm and caring therapist whose knowledge and drive are hard to beat.  Alecia is particularly interested in infant development and early language.  She has two amazing kids and a pro hockey slash pro photographer for a hubby.  This girl has the travel bug, so we generally only snag her during the summer months!
