Entry to School
Program

The Entry to School is a new, Ministry-funded initiative through the Ontario Autism Program.  The purpose of this program is to prepare learners to attend Kindergarten or Grade 1 for the first time.  This program consists of a 6-month, small group program focusing on school readiness in the areas of communication, play, social interaction, routines, behaviour and learning.  Following school entry, children will be provided with individual transition supports in consultation with families and educators.  In Kingston, we are partnered with Stride Academy and Make Way for Me to offer this program.  In Belleville, our partners are Stride Academy and Spark Pediatric.
